BackCountry skis KARSKI XL (pair) - Available in lenghts 120cm, 145cm and 160cm

KARSKI XL BackCountry skis combine snowshoeing and forest skiing. They are ideal for all cross-country skiing and in all kinds of conditions. On flat and light terrain, they can be used for traditional skiing, and in snowy forests, they are easy to move around because they are short and light to lift over brushwood.

KARSKI XL BackCountry skis has a high-quality European-made grip Mohair-fur that provides grip during the kick phase. During the sliding phase, the tip and back give them sufficient glide. It doesn't slip, but it does slide!

KARSKI XL BackCountry skis is of a compact length that ensures easy and quick turns, more easily than long forest skis. BackCountry skis are light and short, so they can be easily carried in a car, snowmobile or ATV.

KARSKI Bindings act as a carrying handle when the sliding snowshoes are tied together. There is no need to carry separate shoes or ski boots, because the bindings can be attached to almost any shoe!

KARSKI Bindings allow for flexibility in the back, allowing the heel to rise up. High-top and ankle-supporting outdoor shoes also work well on slopes. The back of the ski is tapered, which gives control when turning.

The technical wood core and CAP surface ensure the best functionality together with the grippy Mohair-fur.

Maintenance:
KARSKI XL BackCountry skis are practically maintenance-free. If necessary, the sliding surfaces (tip and rear) can be waxed with sliding wax intended for skis.

KARSKI GT 165cm eräsukset

KARSKI GT eräsukset ovat perinteisen puusuksen ja nykyaikaisen ABS muovin yhdistelmä. Pinta ja runko ovat puuta. Pohjan ABS muovi on kovaa ja kulutusta kestävää kevyttä pohjapintaa. ABS antaa erinomaisen luiston suksen etu ja takaosaan. Suksen keskiosassa on lohenpyrstö urakuvioitu pitopohja. Pitopohja antaa pitoa ponnistusvaiheessa, ja luistoa löytyy liukuvaiheessa suksen etu ja takaosasta. 15cm leveän suksen reunoilta löytyy molemminpuolinen olas-ura joka antaa suuntavakautta.

KARSKI GT puusuksirungon profiili on loivasti pyöristetty kärjestä jolloin suksi pyrkii pintaan puuterilumessa. Takaa pyöristys on hivenen voimakkaampi helpon ohjautuvuuden saavuttamiseksi. Keskeltä suksen profiili joustaa alas ponnistusvaiheessa.

KARSKI GT eräsukseen voit helposti kiinnittää mieleisen siteen omia ulkoilukenkiä varten. Siteen kiinnikejalusta on 41cm pituinen jonka puuhun ruuvit uppoavat näppärästi.

KARSKI GT eräsukset ovat näppärän pituiset (165cm) ottaa mukaan vaikka autoon, mönkijään tai moottorikelkkaan. Niillä pujottelet metsässä tai ryteikössä helpommin kuin pitkillä hankisuksilla.

KARSKI Outdoor Skis 200cm (pair)

KARSKI Outdoor skis are Finnish designed and carefully manufactured to achieve the right functionality. They are excellent for winter touring or hunting in snowy terrain. The best functionality of a ski is achieved when their optimal length, width, balance and flexibility meet in the right proportions.

KARSKI Outdoor skis are 200cm long, which is the optimal length if they are also used in forested terrain. Turning with a ski that is too long will not be possible in a tight forest or brushwood. A ski that is too short will sink into the project. Structure of KARSKI outdoor skis has been made very light thanks to the CAP Foam structure. KARSKI skis weigh only 1440g !

Traveling with a light and 10cm wide ski is a struggle. A 10cm wide ski carries a narrower ski better and the tightly bent curved tip cuts through the surface of the snow.

The CAP Foam structure gives the ski strength but also the necessary flexibility for soft snow, when the tip has to rise to the surface of the snow.

The bottom of KARSKI outdoor skis has a shoulder that runs the entire length of the ski. The shoulder is a longitudinal groove in the bottom of the ski. The shoulder gives the ski directional stability.

Without good grip, traveling is really challenging.

The bottom of KARSKI outdoor skis has a 57cm long grip pattern in the middle of the ski. In normal weather, the grip provides sufficient grip without lubrication. The grip can be lubricated in problematic weather if necessary. To keep the lubricant, the grip area can be roughened with fine sandpaper (100-120) by sanding it in light circular motions.

The gliding of KARSKI cross-country skis can be improved by treating the gliding base sections with gliding wax like normal skis. It is recommended to wax the skis after the end of the ski season.

KARSKI outdoor ski bindings are traditional stretchable heel spring bindings. They are excellent for hiking and touring skis.

The nylon straps of KARSKI outdoor ski bindings are easily adjustable for different sized boots. The quick release is a secure and functional solution.

KARSKI Silver 160 telescopic poles

KARSKI Silver 160 telescopic poles are made of high-quality aluminum. They can be used with various BackCountry skis or snowshoes.

The length of the KARSKI Silver 160 telescopic poles is adjustable between 110cm and 160cm. The short poles are compact enough to carry with you, for example in a car, sled or snowmobile. The transport length is only 90cm!

You get the correct pole length when the handle reaches just above chest height. The height of the poles is shown on a scale on the pole shaft and is locked in the desired position by turning the pole counterclockwise. The lock is released by turning clockwise.

The tip of the poles has a carbide tip for icy terrain. Removable rubber tip protectors are included to prevent scratches from pole spikes, for example in a car. The rubber protectors allow the poles to be used for Nordic walking.

The frost-resistant, dense-patterned snow cup of the KARSKI Silver 160 telescopic poles has a diameter of 100mm. The large, dense-patterned snow cup works well in powder snow. The cup can be easily unscrewed with a wrench if you want to use the poles for Nordic walking.

The shaped handles of the KARSKI Silver 160 telescopic poles are rubbery leather with a good grip. They also keep your hands warm in the cold better than plastic handles. A sturdy wrist strap with stepless adjustment.

KARSKI Outdoor Ski Poles 150cm

KARSKI Outdoor poles can be used for BackCountry skiing or hiking with snowshoes.

KARSKI Outdoor poles are 150cm long fiberglass poles. The poles can be shortened by removing the top end handle and heating the handle if necessary. You get the right pole length when the handle reaches the tip of your chin. The tip of the poles has a carbide piece for icy terrain.

The pole snow cone is 13cm in diameter.
